Play is a child's work! Play is an important part of children's development; building language skills, encouraging social interactions, and preparing them for future learning. My child care program emphasizes learning through independent and guided play, and interacting with others. My goal is to assist you in nurturing your child's healthy development at all stages of life. My high-quality child care program enables children of all ages to learn and grow healthy, happy and strong at their own pace.

At Lil' Cubs ChildCare you know your child will be getting just what they need for Social Development, Emotional Development, Language Development, Physical Development, Cognitive development & Fine Motor Skills Development. In a safe and nurturing environment!
Learning and Fun:
Your child will enjoy activities ranging from art and craft projects to games, songs & dancing, story time, exercises, science, shapes, numbers, colors, alphabet, and much more. Some of these projects will be taken home to share with you, and others will be group activities. Children learn best by "doing". Therefore, the activities that the children participate in are developmentally appropriate, concrete, hands-on, and most of all fun, because we believe that learning is an exciting experience. I will work on the following with babies: throughout each day we will practice on large and small motor skills by reaching, grasping, rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, walking, catching, cooing and talking; whichever developmental stage your child happens to be in at the time. Infants and toddlers learn through play by utilizing flash cards, books, numbers, shapes, colors, the alphabet, stacking blocks, age-appropriate toys, and much more. Participation is encouraged, but the child will not be forced to participate. Most importantly, my goal is to make learning for all ages fun, and non-intimidating.

Activities:
Children under my care will receive lots of free-play and structured-play throughout each day. Age appropriate activities will be scheduled with the flexibility allowed to respond to the needs of each individual child and their various ages. Activities that we will participate in, include, but are not limited to the following. Indoor activities include: books and story-time, Lego's, circle-time, exercises, music and dancing, dress up, play food, arts and crafts, puzzles, flash cards, animals/dinosaurs, various learning toys, various games, blocks, coloring, Simon-says, and singing. Outdoor activities include: jumping, running, kick balls, catch, bubbles, etc. As you know, children play hard and will get some bumps and bruises from time to time. I will do my best to limit the amount of times this occurs, with constant supervision and watchful eyes. During the summer months (Weather permitting) we allow for more outdoor activities and creative art projects.
The information above is only some of the information, please contact me for more details on my program.
